About

Jilfa Trends is a creative art and fashion company that produces artifacts such as beaded bags, jewelry, bridal accessories, Ankara shirts and accessories from recyclable waste materials like paper, glass, plastic and fabric. The business is structured as a sole proprietorship operating under entrepreneur Alberta Quist.

Jilfa Trends is located in the Western Regional part of Ghana. It began its operations in August 2018. Jilfa Trends recognizes that amount of waste generated by the textiles and garment industry as well as the general waste like paper, glass, and plastic generated from everyday inevitable human activities and wishes to reduce, if not curb, its pollution and effect on the environment and humans by making household artifacts from these waste materials for daily use and to create decent jobs as a contribution to the reduction of unemployment in the country.

To achieve this, Jilfa Trends plans on empowering women, especially the less privileged, through monthly based training in various rural communities. Jilfa Trends is open to partnerships, collaborations, and investments.
